Chilli Beef Noodles

Sticky and crispy beef tossed with noodles and crunchy peanuts.

Method:

  1. Crush the peanuts in a pestle and mortar. Set aside.
  2. Crush the garlic and finely grate the ginger. Finely slice the spring onion and red chilli. Set aside.
  3. Heat a large frying pan with vegetable oil on a medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and fry for one minute.
  4. Add the beef mince, honey and chilli flakes to the pan and turn up the heat. Break up the mince with a wooden spoon and cook for 5 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Add the lime juice and light soy sauce to the beef for the last 30 seconds of cooking. Remove from the heat.
  7. Add the crispy chilli beef to the noodles and garnish with the sliced spring onion and red chilli.

  • Peanuts – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Ginger – 2cm piece
  • Spring Onion – 2
  • Red Chilli – 1
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Lean High-Quality Beef Mince – 500g
  • Honey – 2 tsp
  • Chilli Flakes – ½ tsp
  • Egg Noodles
  • Lime Juice – ½ tsp
  • Light Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
