Paneer Tikka Kebabs

Chargilled paneer with Indian spices is perfect served with warm naan bread and fresh salad. Cook under the grill or on the bbq.

Method:

  1. Peel and grate the ginger. Crush the garlic cloves. Juice the lemon. Add to a large bowl.
  2. Add all the other ingredients to the bowl and mix well.
  3. Cut the paneer into cubes. Transfer to the bowl. Coat the chicken pieces with the marinade. Cover with cling film and marinate for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
  4. Place the paneer pieces on a lightly oiled grill tray. Grill the marinated paneer pieces at the highest heat for 15 minutes, turning halfway through. You can do this in the oven or on a barbeque.
  5. Serve with naan bread and salad.

  • Lemon – ½
  • Chilli Powder – 1 tsp 
  • Cayenne Powder – ½ tsp 
  • Ground Coriander – ½tsp 
  • Ground Cumin – ½ tsp 
  • Turmeric – ½ tsp 
  • Tomato Puree – 2 tbsp 
  • Salt – 2 tsp 
  • Natural Yogurt – 100g 
  • Paneer – 500g 
  • Vegetable Oil – 2 tbsp
