Peanut Butter Brownies

Peanut butter replaces regular butter in this recipe for this gooey tray bake.

Method:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C
  2. Melt chocolate and peanut butter in a bowl over a pan of hot water.
  3. Take the bowl off the heat. Add the cocoa powder, flour and sugar. Mix together.
  4. Once the mixture is cooler, crack the eggs in.
  5. Beat the mixture. The batter should become thick and glossy.
  6. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Spoon the batter in. Smooth over with the back of a spoon.
  7. Place in the oven for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the oven off, but leave the tray inside. After 5 minutes remove the tray.
  8. Cut into six squares and dust with icing sugar once cooled.

  • Crunchy Peanut Butter – 3 tbsp
  • Self-Raising Flour – 3 tbsp
  • Eggs – 2
  • Soft Brown Sugar – 1 tbsp
